Deadpool 2 Social Campaign
Knowing that the social campaign for the first Deadpool movie was one of the most breakthrough and recognized movie marketing campaigns of all time, the pressure to deliver for Deadpool 2 was extraordinary. But my team at EP+Co wasn’t about to back down from the challenge. Not only did we raise the level of social creativity across the board, we helped bring a very minor character into the real world in a very major way.
When it came to being timely and culturally relevant, we looked for every opportunity to jump on a moment and turn it into Deadpool gold. Instances like Betty White’s birthday, the Super Bowl, or even creating a post for Ryan Reynolds around The Avengers movie premier proved to be perfect opportunities for us to flex our creative muscle.
