Denny's - Chocolat Du Diner

Denny’s fans on social constantly show love for the brand, so we felt it was time for us to give some back. And what better way to do that than by creating a one-of-a-kind collection of breakfast-themed truffles. After coming up with this idea, we worked with a local chocolatier to chocolate coat smaller versions of Denny’s Pancake Puppies, and to also inject actual Denny’s syrup inside handmade gourmet chocolates. We then build a custom box that held four of these beauties, and offered them to our fans. But these couldn’t be bought with money, they could only be bought with love. So using the hashtag #BeMyValendine, fans were asked to express their love for Denny’s.

After putting this limited-edition product up on Denny’s social channels and pointing to a landing page, fans went crazy and the love started pouring in. The hashtag #BeMyValendine reached the top 30 on the US Twitter Trends list. It was also picked up by several news sources including USA Today and Food and Wine.
